Bill Windsor, “I fear for my safety and the safety of my family..”

Bill Windsor was an ordinary citizen who encountered abuses in the legal system, and when he began to tell others his story, many came forward with their own stories of government abuse and corruption. This inspired Windsor to create a documentary featuring stories from people of all walks of life, from every state, who also experienced government abuse and injustice. Windsor titled the documentary “Lawless America” and has worked tirelessly to give voice to those who have been abused, victimized and trampled on by the laws and government agencies meant to protect.

For his noble cause, Windsor has become the target of online stalking, harassment, defamation of character, similar treatment of his family, threats on his life, and worse.. Who are the people behind these attacks? A rogue government agency–no. A group of powerful elites–no. Powerful politicians–no. Angry officials who have been exposed–no. The majority of people attacking Windsor are from American Mothers Political Party (AMPP), a group that is supposed to advocate and defend victims of abuse, and a group who aspires to be a leader in the mother’s movement. And the Joeys, a group of bullies who has been posting hateful and nasty comments on their blog for years. AMPP has teamed up with the Joeys to attack Windsor and enlist others to join in. Anyone who is opposed to their bullying or speaks against the Joe-PPers is similarly attacked, so that many are frightened to speak up…or fear their professional reputation would be ruined if they did so. For example; AMPP has ruthlessly attacked Protective Mothers Alliance International. PMA is a fellow professional organization in the Mother’s Movement. To our knowledge and through our research PMA is the only organization within the mothers’ movement standing up to Joe-PPers’ abuse. PMA has a no abuse zone policy as stated on their website. . In filming “Lawless”, Windsor has begin to expose the “wolves among the sheep” in the Mother’s Movement..AMPP has become his strongest opposition.

For those asking WHY would Bill Windsor need self protection, and what threat did he feel was against him, here is a statement in his own words..

On February 25, 2013, Bill Windsor filed criminal complaints against 37 cyberstalkers. Many of those included support American Mothers Political Party (AMPP) or the Joey blog. The Joe-PPers have actively been trying to recruit people who are estranged from Lawless to their cause, and incited them to join in the attacks…

Included in the criminal complaint were Allie Overstreet, Mark Supanich, Sean Boushie, Claudine Dombrowski, Lorraine Tipton, Shannon E. Miller aka Elizabeth Hope Hernandez, Jennifer Herbert aka Jennifer Dotson, Kimberly Wigglesworth, Brannon T. Bridge, Connie Bedwell, Justin Thompson, Loryn Ryder, Cheryl Sosby, Gail Lakritz, L. Wilson, Lisa Jones, Trinity Baker, Diane Gochin aka Diane Rose aka Diane Rostesky, Curtis Butler, Edward Hernandez, Jay Roland, and others. <– ATW NOTE Many of the individuals involved had multiple aliases, facebook pages and e-maill addresses, they are skilled in hiding their identity. With these fake profiles were able to create the appearance that they are a bigger group than their true numbers show.

Windsor filed the complaint according to the “GEORGIA CODE SECTION 13A-11-8: HARASSMENT OR HARASSING COMMUNICATIONS”. Harassment is a Class C Misdemeanor in Georgia, where Windsor resides. The statute includes (sections highlighted by Windsor):
(a)(1) HARASSMENT. A person commits the crime of harassment if, with intent to harass, annoy, or alarm another person, he or she either:
(b)(1) HARASSING COMMUNICATIONS. A person commits the crime of harassing communications if, with intent to harass or alarm another person, he or she does any of the following:
a. Communicates with a person, anonymously or otherwise, by telephone, telegraph, mail, or any other form of written or electronic communication, in a manner likely to harass or cause alarm.
And, “the term “harassing and intimidating” means a knowing and willful course of conduct directed at a specific person which causes emotional distress by placing such person in reasonable fear for such person’s safety or the safety of a member of his or her immediate family, by establishing a pattern of harassing and intimidating behavior, and which serves no legitimate purpose.”

ATW NOTE in 2011, Claudine Dombrowski spoke at the Battered Mothers Custody Conference (BMCC) on ways for women to organize and connect with AMPP online.. including “Unity through the world wide web”. AND “a) How internet groups allow us to form tribes of mothers over long distances and sparsely populated areas through the use of technology” AND “b)How “To’s” to Safely set up blogs, link and linking, news features to AMPP network -via the BADASS Success.” I sincerely hope Dombrowski is not using the BMCC to promote her hateful agenda, and enlist others in her gang of attack mothers!)

Windsor writes the following statement, which is publicly released:

“Stalking is a form of mental assault, in which the perpetrator repeatedly, unwantedly, and disruptively breaks into the life-world of the victim, with whom he has no relationship (or no longer has). The separated acts that make up the intrusion may not always by themselves cause the mental abuse, but do taken together (cumulative effect).

Internet technology has enabled online groups of anonymous people like this to self-organize to target individuals with online defamation, threats of violence, and technology-based attacks.In this case, there seem to be some “professional” stalkers at work. According to online posts, the American Mothers Political Party (a hate group) teamed up several years ago with a group of “Joeys” who operate a hate website at http://joeyisalittlekid.blogspot.com.
They have published lies, doctored photographs, threatened violence, posted sensitive personal information, e-mailed damaging statements to many people, and are manipulating search engines to make damaging material about me more prominent.

I fear for my safety and the safety of my family. I am in fear of bodily harm to myself and my family, violent injury to my property, and more.

On February 25, 2013, I filed my second criminal complaint. This named at least 37 people and entities. Included were online aliases such as Ginger Snap, Petunia Pigg, and others.
My complaint is for stalking, harassment, harassing communications, threats (including death threats or veiled threats of bodily harm by four people).
There is absolutely no question that these people have followed me online and contacted me online for the purpose of harassing and intimidating me. They have attempted to terrify, threaten, harass, annoy, and offend me with lewd and profane language, lewd and lascivious acts, threats to inflict physical harm, and more.

Virtually all of the stalking and harassment has been cyberstalking, the use of the Internet and email to stalk and harass me and those acquainted with me.
The stalking includes the making of false accusations and false statements. These include that I am a pedophile, a pedophile lover, anti-gay, bigoted, a tax evader, a criminal operating a scam, and much more.

The stalking includes monitoring, as the stalkers claim to be tracking my Internet activity. Some stalkers participate in my online radio talk shows to monitor and/or to disrupt the calls and the online chat. The monitoring includes repeated online posts of libelous, threatening, harassing statements.
I fear identity theft as they say they have my social security number.

Many of these perpetrators spend a lot of time gathering information that may be used to harass.
The stalking is apparently motivated by a desire to control me and interfere with my activities. Their sole goal is to damage me and my charitable efforts.

The initial cyberstalker was a person who I do not believe I know. He was joined by people I do know and many more who I wouldn’t know from Adam. These stalkers have solicited involvement of other people online who do not even know me.

The libel and slander is truly unbelievable. These stalkers invent one false claim after another. People who I don’t know make statements in writing that have no truth whatsoever and can be easily proven to be false. It’s like they feel they can say anything and get away with it.

The stalkers have repeatedly violated my privacy rights and copyright by using photos and videos of me that they have no legal right to use. Photographs of me have been doctored. Absolutely sickening videos have been produced about me. The worst is one that has one scene after another of feces – big piles of shit in various settings – and it’s all attacking me. (<– ATW NOTE the pictures and videos have gotten MUCH WORSE since then!)

They have created fake blogs about me containing defamatory content.

Internet technology has enabled online groups of anonymous people like this to self-organize to target individuals with online defamation, threats of violence, and technology-based attacks. They have published lies, doctored photographs, threatened violence, posted sensitive personal information, e-mailed damaging statements to many people, and are manipulating search engines to make damaging material about me more prominent.

It would take a team of people full-time to capture all the stalking and slander. I have 882 megabytes of evidence, but it is a fraction of what is out there.
Any reasonable person in possession of this information would regard it as sufficient to cause another reasonable person distress.

I have massive civil charges that I intend to bring against these folks.

I say to all of the people cybertsalking me, slandering me, libeling me, defaming me, etc., CEASE AND DESIST. I consider your actions to be both criminal and civil violations, and I intend to file criminal charges against each of you.

Petunia Incites Legal Action vs Windsor Or “We may revoke your Vajayjay card!”

Bill Windsor, of Lawless America, is recently the subject of a protective order filed in Missouri, claiming he bought a gun and planned to use it on a group of people. Is this a legit complaint or an attempt to bring Windsor, and his government corruption documentary, Lawless America, down? And who is this group, anyways?

We at ATW have reviewed a post from Feb 2. where Windsor admits to buying a gun. HOWEVER Windsor clearly states it was for self-protection, and that he is legally carrying it. Windsor also says he is “non-violent”and “I will not hesitate to use this for my self protection”. In a later statement admits he is in fear of these abusive stalkers, some of who are using an anonymous name so they cannot be tracked while attacking and stalking Windsor. It is also worth noting that this one, isolated post was followed by several business communications, memos and planning regarding the “Meet Me in DC” event, in all respects the event was a successful and no one attending had any complaints about Windsor’s behavior.

There is alot of background information that needs to be considered to make a proper judgment on this case, and to determine if this is the action of a truly frightened individual or one seeking revenge…

On Feb, 2, 2013 the Joeys blog posted an article called “Der Fuhrer is Backed into a Corner“, it is the usual round of name calling directed at Windsor and Lawless, today’s excuse is that Windsor had a falling out with Deanna Kloostra (an AMPP member since 2009) so Windsor must deserve their hateful treatment, false allegations, and character defamation. The Joe-PPers (Joeys + AMPP) portray themselves as the victims while taking the abuser’s stance (wolves in sheep’s clothing!). “Der Fuhrer” includes details on AMPP’s latest attempts to sabotage Windsor, “The AMPPs fire back by sending congressman copies of Bill’s only movies to this point like the “I am a pedophile” video and soundtrack, they also sent it to the reality series that is supposedly looking at doing a reality tv series out of lawless..”
After AMPP contacted the reality series, Windsor’s application to the reality show was denied–and the voices of victims of government corruption/abuse from around America were suppressed. AMPP claims to be a victim advocacy group, one has to look at their words and actions and wonder whose side are they on??

“Der Fuhrer” includes alot of false allegations and name calling aimed towards Windsor. If witnesses are called to testify on behalf of the complaintant or the group involved, and these witnesses are involved with AMPP or the Joey blog then their online statements should be taken into consideration to determine their motives and credibility. “Der Fuhrer” goes in all directions before addressing the gun issue. The Joe-PPers do express anger towards a certain person, who is seen posting on Loryn Ryder’s facebook page, and who is now supporting Lawless. So there is another motive that plays into these allegations.

Here is what Windsor posted along with a picture of the gun:
“Feb 2. Lawless America
SELF-PROTECTION FOUND A NEW CARRYING CASE FOR THE TRIP.
This is the pistol that we purchased for self-protection. It is legal to have it in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia, so it is traveling with me in a hard-sided, locked case. This model is called The Public Defender version of The Judge. This shoots a special juiced-up shotgun-like shell, and it was recommended because the gun store said it is virtually impossible to miss the target.
I am non-violent. but I will not hesitate to use this if needed for my self-protection. — at Atlanta, GA.”

The Joe-PPers respond by making fun of Windsor then moving onto another subject, they do not appear to be concerned by Windsor’s statement.. but do seem to revel in twisting the statement, and using it for their own sick agenda.

In the comments section, Petunia Snodgrass (fake name used by AMPP attack mother) is urging Loryn Rider to talk to attorney about Windsor, and implies threatening her with a gun. Snodgrass taunts Loryn that if she does not do this, she is not a real woman, “Girlfriend, if you don’t haul ass to an attorney Monday morning w/all this fat fuktard’s rants about you combined w/this new gun snit? We may revoke your Vajayjay card! ”

Snodgrass also says a settlement/judgment against Windsor could make them very rich, “I would like to come over and frolick in your new pool in Georgia after all the judgment/settlement ~ Brannon will furnish the Mike’s! ” (Mike’s Hard Lemonade)

Then Snodgrass again urges Loryn Rider to take legal action, “BowchickAbowbow ~ Sick him LORYN!”
(Keep in mind Snodgrass is an AMPP supporter, and AMPP has publicly declared “war” on Windsor.)

Around this time, Windsor is planning the “Meet Me in DC” event where Lawless America would present video testimonies to Congress, and citizens were encouraged to speak to their representatives about concerns with government corruption and abuse–including the alarming trend of family court awarding custody to dangerous abusers, and stripping mothers of their rights. AMPP should have been interested in the family court aspect of “Lawless” and found a way to resolve differences so they could advocate for protective moms, and use “Lawless” as a support to secure help for these women and their vulnerable children.

INSTEAD
AMPP urged Australian AMPP and supporters to contact the FBI and several Congressmen to complain about Windsor with false reports, including that he is a “gun toting DC bound fool”. So AMPP had already created alarm, and with rumors was beginning to lay a foundation of lies that Windsor is dangerous–and they even said (with the Joeys) that Windsor is a Nazi and a terrorist. All of this would become part of the later protective order filed against Windsor on March 20, 2013 in Missouri. Loryn Ryder got drawn into the fray because she had a grievance with Windsor, and she was enlisted that to further the agenda of the Joe-PPers.

If you read the rest of the comments on this page, you can clearly see that none of the members are scared of Windsor, and they don’t even view him as a threat to their life or safety..the Joe-PPers (Joeys + AMPP) continue their usual nasty comments and sarcastic jokes, not missing a beat. Obviously if any of these people felt threatened, they would have called the police but instead are complaining about the number of likes on Windsor’s facebook page, and other nonsense.

Curtis Butler actually gives Windsor advice about the gun, are these the words of someone who felt threatened, frightened?

Is this the group that was threatened by Windsor, that claims Windsor is dangerous and out of control.. If so, this protective order is in serious trouble!

Claudine Dombrowski Pt. 2 – Wizard of Oz Fantasy Decoded

The Oz Obsessed mind of Claudine Dombrowski reveals a startling confession..

If what is being posted is correct, then Claudine had prior knowledge that Allie was filing an order against Bill Windsor, and he would need to appear in court in Missouri. Within the gobleygook of Claudine’s Wizad of Oz Fantasty are some interesting “coincedences”… Claudine first posted at 3:30 am on March 20th. Bill was later served with papers by the sheriff at 10 pm on March 20th. Bill was clearly shocked but Claudine clearly knew what was going to happen, and who is behind the Adult Abuse/Stalking Ex Parte Order of Protection. Bill Windsor has not published any names related to this order. SO One has to wonder what Claudine’s role in this is… See below for more details

1) On March 20th at 3:30 am, Claudine Dombrowski posted on her blog a threatening statement to Bill Windsor,” March 20, 2013 at 3:30 am” and titled,”Claudine Dombrowski Congressional Testimony to the fake Movie Lawless America and CON MAN Bill Windsor.” This article was put in the category of “Domestic law”

 

Bill Windsor, of Lawless America,posted on Facebook the day after , “At 10 pm on March 20, 2013, a sheriff appeared at our front door. I was served with an Adult Abuse/Stalking Ex Parte Order of Protection.”

2) Windsor is obviously shocked to see the sheriff at his door, “This is the first time I have ever had the police come to see me or indicate that I might have ever done anything illegal (other than traffic tickets) in my entire life. I have never been arrested, charged with, or convicted of a crime. I have never been in a jail or prison except as a visitor. I haven’t even had a traffic ticket or parking ticket in over 12 years.”

 

Claudine begins her letter, “Dear Bill (fat boy) Windsor [and your fake Lawless America movie]” and throughout the letter swears at Windsor, calls him names, calls him an “American Terrorist” and calls upon the Joeys for back-up

 

3) Windsor says,“The complaint against me is that I have “bought a gun for use on a group of people” and “One lie after another under penalty of perjury.“

 

Claudine alludes to a weapon in her March 20th letter,”Sue me you fucking freek. I dare you, to bring that fat ass to to the land of OZ. You will need a lot more than target lessons to take me on. You will need an ENTIRE army.You will even have home advantage with the ppl here you are working with.

4) Windsor says his hearing is in Missouri,”If you are anywhere near Lexington, Missouri on Monday March 25, 2013 at 1 pm, please join me in Courtroom B of the Circuit Court of Lafayette County.”

Claudine also mentions Missouri, and specifically states Allie’s Hearing, “Bill, I will see you in Missouri. Allies Hearing… your idle lil threats do not hold a candle to my presence.”

 

5) Claudine also mentions motive.. She is angry over the filming of her testimony in Lawless America.

 

Claudine has publicly declared war on Protective Mothers Alliance (PMA) and Janice Levinson, somehow in her twisted and paranoid brain, she believes Bill Windsor and Janice Levinson are the “enemies” and are plotting against her. Claudine justifies her actions, her harassment and various acts of cyber stalking as being part of that war..and her flying monkeys aka the Joeys are her willing henchmen. Claudine seems to invite a confrontation.

 

Claudine concludes with: “American Mothers Political Party. Mothers Supporting Mothers. Because We can.”

 

No Claudine you can not harass, cannot create hate blogs, cannot cyber bully and cannot call the FBI/file false criminal charges against innocent people…that is a crime.

Profile of a Bully: Robert Hare PhD Exposes the Mind & Motivations of a Bully

Robert Hare, PhD. offers an in-depth look into the mind, and motivations of a bully. Hare is a world-leading authority on psychopathic behaviour. Hare comments, “I estimate that around 1 person in 30 (approximately 2 million) in the UK exhibits the profile of the serial bully whose behaviour is congruent with many of the diagnostic criteria for Antisocial Personality Disorder. Some serial bullies meet sufficient clinical criteria to merit the label psychopath….

However, most of the research on Antisocial Personality Disorder has been undertaken with people who are physically violent, as these people have come to the attention of the authorities (police, welfare agencies, doctors, psychiatrists, etc) through their recognised (physically) antisocial behaviour. They have committed criminal, arrestable offences. I believe relatively little research has been undertaken with people who are psychologically violent but rarely physically violent; these people tend to commit non-criminal, non-arrestable offences.“

 

WHY DO THEY BULLY?

According to Hare, the bully is fueled by jealousy and envy to target a competent and popular individual. The bully projects their own feelings of inadequacy and self doubt onto the victim, the harassment becomes a way for the bully to confront their own inner demons. By controlling the victim, the bully feels more in control, secure of their own underlying problems.

When the victim fights back, and points out the wrongful behavior of the bully, the bully is gripped by a paranoid fear of being exposed. The bully then views the victim as a threat that needs to be neutralized or eliminated; by any means possible. The bullying escalates, with the intent to silence the victim, control the victim or get them to retract. After that happens, the bully again feels secure. Then there is a period of 2 days to 2 weeks of rest then the bully begins the vicious cycle all over again.

Bullying is a temporary fix to an underlying problem, it is much like a high chased by a drug user than initially seems to satisfy then leads to disappointment, and a destructive downward spiral that affects all areas of the bully’s life.

–Anecdotal evidence suggests that people who bully as adults were once bullies in school; not only did they learn to bully in school but learned they could get away with it.

–The serial bully is unable and unwilling to act by the rules of society, yet insists that everyone else does…The bully will often point out the mistakes or short comings of others.

-The serial bully is a convincing liar with a Jekyll and Hyde personality who gains gratification from bullying others. The bully will also target anyone who would threaten the bully’s job, promotion prospects and social status/position.

– The serial bully acts randomly and impulsively, and has selective memory, and will purposefully forget their own actions, words, choices etc (for their own benefit).

-The serial bully regularly shows impatience and irritability, especially when questioned or called to account, and then becomes aggressive; a psychological assault usually follows.

-When people begin to notice the bullying, and begin ask questions or speak up for the victim, the bully acts like they are the victim, or suddenly develops a health condition which excuses their actions, in an attempt to deny responsibility for their behavior.

-The serial bully rarely stays in one position long and there is no loyalty to anyone except their own self.

Claudine Dombrowski: Holocaust Hypocrite

Lessons about “honor, dignity, and self respect” from Claudine Dombrowski, founder of American Mothers Political Party (AMPP) also a daughter of Holocaust survivor: “Any cause, is good when always — in all that you do, you maintain your honor, dignity and self respect. Life’s guiding tool. I learned this from my Romanian grandmother and Father who survived the death camps in Auschwitz and then Dachau – when finally they were liberated by the US – my grandfather – 2nd wave of Normandy. Honor, Dignity, & Self Respect?

BUT DOES CLAUDINE REALLY MEAN THIS??

Claudine begins a self-promoting rant with quotes from Elie Wiesel, Auschwitz survivor, and Anne Frank, who perished in Dachau, in a manipulative attempt to justify her recent acts of character defamation & harassment; somehow trying to portray herself as the hero in an epic—but totally imaginary— battle of good vs evil. All these allegations by Claudine and her clubhouse are never substantiated with credible proof. They are just like the abuser exes they pretend to advocate against; throwing unprovoked, baseless allegations at their target, waiting and hoping- with the beat of an evil heart- that some allegations might stick.

So Claudine what do you consider a good cause? Look at these videos supported or created by AMPP members and ask yourself do you see honor, dignity and self respect… It seems the work of AMPP has been more focused on attacking people, and disgracing the memory of the Holocaust, than actually advocating for protective mothers and their children.

Elizabeth Hope Hernandez Quotes Forgiveness: Does She Really Mean It?

What a beautiful day! The sun is shining, the birds are chirping..and Elizabeth Hope Hernandez is quoting forgiveness on her FB blog even as she is waging vicious attacks, and scaring people from posting in public forums.

The beautiful sunset shining over Hernandez’s page with the golden script about forgiveness is surreal. You either believe the sun shining, birds chirping fantasy or step into the dark reality of hate and bitter resentment that makes forgiveness impossible.

Shannon E. Miller Hernandez aka Elizabeth Hope Hernandez has joined in on some of the most vicious internet attacks with the Joeys, and AMPP. Hernandez targets.not just against Bill Windsor and Lawless America but against anyone who is unfortunate to get in her path. Hernandez can be witnessed losing control on the Powerpuff page–her words are like a tornado, meant to destroy everything in their path. She has even said it would be good thing if Windsor were to die. No surprise, Hernandez is named in the criminal complaints Windsor has filed but.

Read as Hernandez quotes forgiveness, do you hear the birds chirping or hear the words of an “insufferable manipulator”?

Here’s an online article about Hernandez’s outrageous behavior, though this is date Jan 2013, Hernandez has continued her attacks, and has found an eager audience with the bullies on the Powerpuff page. As you read, ask yourself if this reflects someone who believes in forgiveness or is this someone who has “twisted it into something it was never meant to be”.

The American Mothers Political Party has launched a boycott against Lawless America…The Movie. The American Mothers Political Party has posted that they are launching a letter-writing campaign to the Sundance Film Festival to encourage them to block Lawless America… The Movie.

The fact is, these crazy letters will probably increase Lawless America’s chances of appearing in the Sundance Film Festival. Michael Moore had a lot more haters than Bill Windsor. People created many anti-Michael Moore websites, and not a single one of them managed to shut him up.

One man-hater in particular has gone bat-shit crazy. This is what I was able to view from her facebook page in the last two days. This is NOT normal. I do not care how much you do not like somebody, this chick has no life whatsoever.

For the purpose of this blog, I removed this crazy lady’s contact information. If you would like to call her and tell her that she is an obsessive freak, visit the Lawless America Website.

This lady needs to mind her own business. If she does not want to participate in the documentary, she does not have to. This freak has an elaborate conspiracy theory that Bill Windsor is a misogynist.

Bill Windsor has taken the statements of women, men, children, grandparents and disabled people. He is not sexist, racist or ageist. This woman is just a fruit loop. The image to the right contains only two days of obsessive posts and ramblings.

Paranoid feminists are no different from paranoid mens rights activists. This obsessive pustule of hatred is astonishing. I think that Elizabeth is one of those professional victims. You know the ones who choose abusive men and enjoy being little victims. Victims do not have to take responsibility for themselves. This lady is going to be a victim for the rest of her life. At least we can say she is getting what she wants from life.

Judge Sxt on the Bench – Resigns After Scandal

A judge sxting while presiding over trials and conducting hearings certainly is disgusting–but even more concerning that Judge Eugenio S. Mathis disclosed confidential information, and his rulings were influenced by personal bias. How many lives were destroyed by Judge S. Mathis’ rulings? How many rulings will be overturned? Can justice prevail after it has been peverted? This case has to do with abuses of power, and a judge who felt he could use the law–and the court–anyway he wanted.

Date of Charges: 2013

Name: Judge Eugenio S. Mathis

Position: District Court Judge, 4th Judicial District, Guadalupe, Mora & San Miguel Counties. Served since 1992.

Name Michelle (Pino) Mathis: Michelle Pino was Judge S. Mathis’ assistant since 2001. They married in 2008.

Position: Court Clerk’s Office

Background: Judge S. Mathis served as chief district judge from 2005 until 2009, he stepped down because his wife Michelle (Pino) Mathis works for the court and the state Supreme Court said that Mathis being his wife’s supervisor appeared improper.

In order to comply with the Supreme Court’s decision, Michelle Mathis was transferred to a supervisory job in the court clerk’s office in 2009. The court clerk’s office is supervised by the chief judge, so Mathis had to give up his position as the 4th Judicial District’s chief judge. He continued to serve on the bench until this scandal.

Location: Las Vegas, New Mexico

Misconduct:
*Judge S. Mathis sxt his wife Michelle numerous times while serving on the bench, during actual cases & hearings. Judge S. Mathis often implied he would have sex with his wife during the work day, and on the court property. A number of chat logs were filed into evidence, including a message that read “Don’t come knocking if the jury room is rockin’.”

*Judge S. Mathis also made statements that implied he did not like his job, including, “One more hearing. Are you ready to go home?? “i’VE BEEN READY SINCE 8:05″

*Let his wife Michelle read confidential reports

*Let his wife Michelle do personal business during work hours including online shopping, paying bills and undermined her supervision

*Not cooperating with other judges

*Making nasty comments about other cases

*Making nasty comments about other judges, personnel and attorneys

*Making comments showing bias or predjudice to jurors

Suspended without pay on Feb. 18, 2013 while investigation was pending

Judge S. Mathis agreed to resign in March 2013, and never hold a judicial position again

It is unclear if Michelle Mathis is receiving disciplinary action

When a judicial vacancy like this happens, the state Judicial Nominating Commission solicits applications, interviews candidates and forwards recommendations to the governor. The governor then appoints someone to fill position, from the pool of applicants recommended by the nominating commission. The person appointed by the governor will be placed on the ballot in the next general election, which will be in November of 2014, and have to win the vote to accept the position.
